Lëtz Cybersecurity Challenge 2019: today’s students are tomorrow’s experts

Europe faces shortage of 350.000 cybersecurity professionals by 2022!

The C3 (Cybersecurity Competence Center Luxembourg), an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, and partners are launching the first Lëtz Cybersecurity Challenge.

This competition targets open minded creative digital natives from 13 up to 25 years. The aim is not only to find talent but encourage young people to pursue a career in cybersecurity and related disciplines. Furthermore, through CSCL, safe online behaviour is promoted by raising awareness on information security issues as well as develop expertise and interest in cybersecurity through challenging games and skill tests.

The challenge started on Dec 1st 2018 and is organised within the frame of the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC), an initiative by the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). Through CSCL a national team shall be identified to represent the Grand-Duchy at the next ECSC to take place in Bucharest in October 2019.
